Tuesday was a day for lopsided victories as several Americans saw their clubs cruise to statement wins.
Headlining the more ridiculous scoreline was Omar Gonzalez’s Pachuca, who took down Belize’s Police United by a whopping 11-0 scoreline in CONCACAF Champions League play. In England, DeAndre Yedlin also saw the field in a comprehensive win, as Newcastle toppled Queens Park Rangers, 6-0.
While Fabian Johnson’s Champions League match was postponed a day due to weather, Julian Green’s Bayern Munich thumped Rostov, 5-0, although the American winger dressed but did not play.
Elsewhere, Danny Williams and Jonathan Spector both went a full 90 minutes against one another, but neither could push their side to a goal in Reading’s 0-0 draw with Birmingham City.
