The FIFA Appeal Committee rejected appeals from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for breaking rules regarding underage players. The two clubs will now serve a one-year transfer ban, although both clubs plan to lobby further appeals through the Court of Arbitration for Sport. (REPORT)

FIFA has opened formal proceedings against former president Sepp Blatter, ex-general secretary Jerome Valcke and former finance chief Marcus Kattner. The trio are being charged following an investigation into alleged bribery and corruption, accepting gifts and conflicts of interest. (REPORT
