The first wave of MLS Conference Semifinals are over, and it is now time to look ahead to each series’ second leg.

MLS confirmed the schedule for next Sunday’s action, as each of the higher seeded teams looks to overcome a road loss to begin their respective postseasons.

The first match of the day will kick off at 2 p.m. as the Colorado Rapids host the LA Galaxy. The former will be looking to erase a manageable deficit, as Pablo Mastroeni’s side looks to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to the LA Galaxy thanks to a Giovani dos Santos goal.

Action will then move to another side looking to return from a one-goal loss. The New York Red Bulls were undone by a single Matteo Mancosu finish, but will return home to Red Bull Arena on Sunday at 4 p.m. for a clash with the Montreal Impact.

NYCFC and FC Dallas face heavier tasks, as each looks to come back from multi-goal losses. NYCFC will take the field first for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff against Toronto FC, who road goals from Jozy Altidore and Tosaint Ricketts to a 2-0 win. Then, at 9 p.m., FC Dallas will push for a lopsided win following a 3-0 beatdown thanks to a trio of second half goals from the Seattle Sounders.

  1. I think that MLS is doing itself a disservice having the games all on the same day.
There are few more willing to watch as many games as I can, than me….and I find it hard to watch 4 games in one day.

    • I think it has to do with college football taking up the broadcast spots on Saturdays. Its either all on Sunday or no TV. If there wasn’t an international break they could go Monday, but the semis always seem to back into an international break.
