Did Jozy score again?
ANOTHER ONE……. MAJOR KEY ALERT………… THEY DONT WANT HIM TO SCORE…….
Cameron Carter-Vickers named to the US U20 team for matches this week. Before anyone freaks out the matches are being held in England so it makes sense. Also, if he’s willing to take a U20 call up he seems pretty committed to the US. Zelalem also being brought in. US will play England, Germany, and Netherlands. US should have a pretty good midfield with Luca De La Torre, Zelalem, Brooks Lennon, and Weston McKinnie.
Thanks for the name drop, sir…
Bedoya out in the 51st against NYRB. Looking a bit uncomfortable, indicating to his obliques.
Confused on the random US WNT national team video???
SUNDERLAND…….L……O…….L……… (Their point looks so cute on the table…)
hey now, that’s *two* points. you see defoe’s miss? 🙂
Sad to think Jozy wasn’t good enough for that team.
It would be sad to think that, because it isn’t true. The team was in shambles. It took 3 managers to climb out off di ciaos hole. Horrid midfield. Worse defense. No striker did well there. Defoe has been the first and his talent was a known regardless of Jozy.
really? i think the sad thing would be if jozy was still there.
Pulisic earns the start today against Chicharito
They’re playing 1v1?! lol
wasn’t that his man that scored the header?
No Pulisic was on the near post
Pulisic subbed out
How’d he do?
He didn’t see much of the ball really, Dortmund were pressured pretty well and they never got into much of a rhythm.
What’s going on with Hyndman, he went 90 in a u23 match earlier on in the week, anyone know why he’s not making the bench
They view him as a player for the future not the present, hence he went 90 minutes with the U23s. Anytime someone for the club is asked about him they always stress the future.
Green, Gooch, Brooks on the bench
Wood, Chandler starting
Morales, Johannsson, Hyndman did not dress
Tim Ream with a GOAL!
also, spector, williams, lichaj starting; yedlin relegated to bench now that anita’s back.
Bayern out of subs, no Green again today.
For someone who is not a forward and has been used as a defender, young Kimmich scores a lot for Bayern.
He’s played CB once this season when Hummels, Alaba, Lahm, and Boatang were all unavailable. He normally plays in the midfield and fills the space created when the wings bring the ball wide and Lewandowski pulls the CBs out of position with his diagonal runs. He’s kind of a change of pace because most of Bayern’s other midfielders like to hang out to shoot from the top of the box. He had 0 goals for Bayern last year in 36 appearances.
