A couple things of note nobody mentioned.
North Carolina’s own Bjorn Maars Johnsen scored his first goal for Hearts
Rafa Benitez that rec league quality manager played Yedlin at RM off the bench
Matt Miazga got his first start for Vitesse
What formation did Bayern start in today? I missed the match but the lineup sheet says Lewandowski was used as a sub.
Their official team sheet only lists two center forwards: Lewandowski and Green. Just curious of Green was kept out for a tactical change or is their second best CF not good enough to crack the eleven ahead of a slew of midfielders and wingers.
Muller was listed in the center, he tends to play as more a false #9, but I was on the road and didn’t see the match. You have to remember Green played Tuesday night. Even if he took the red eye to Munich, he’s no good to even start to think about training until Thursday.
danny williams goal
Chandler to Fabian with a unusually awesome GOAL ! USA to Mexico past Bayern
Chandler – man of the match
Lol
More like a shanked shot that Fabian cleaned up nicely.
Goal Bradley!! I mean, for Swansea!! And it’s Deuce’: old teammate, Gilfy. Ah the synergy…
Chandler playing well for Frankfurt in the 1st half against Bayern. Has had a couple of good crosses and a nice shot on goal that bounced off the far post.
Green on the bench for Bayern….hopefully he’ll see some minutes today.
Chandler having a fantastic game vs Bayern. Full of confidence. Defending well, attacking a lot, and getting most of his crosses into dangerous spots in the box. If he plays anywhere close to this, I don’t mind him over Yedlin for the qualifiers.
And Chandler picks up an assist on the goal that tied the game at 2-2 when Frankfurt was down to 10 men.
U gotta clear that….
That ain’t bad coaching; just clear it…
Fabian in the starting XI for Monchengladbach Vs. Hamburg. Hamburg reduced to 10 men after 25 minutes, but Monchen can’t convert the PK.
Do or die for Bradley. No more lame excuses or moral victories. Winning is all that matters
Nice to have you with us this morning Juergen
Bob Bradley starting.
Curious to see his fitness levels in the EPL…can he go the full 90 pacing the sideline?? We shall see.
Doubt it. He’ll never cut it, he’s only there because his son is USA’s captain.
Lester is off to a horrid start to the season. Can’t believe that this is the same club who won the EPL last year.
