Several of the world’s elite take the field Saturday, headlining a loaded day of club soccer action.

In England, a clash of 2015-16 title contenders takes centerstage as Tottenham faces off with last year’s champions, Leicester City. Manchester United and Manchester City, a pair of teams after this year’s crown, are also in action against Burnley and West Brom, respectively, before Liverpool wraps up the day’s Premier League slate against Crystal Palace.

Spanish soccer features all three of the nation’s elite. Real Madrid sees the field first for a clash with Alaves before Atletico Madrid takes on Malaga. Finally, Barcelona faces off with Granada as the Catalans look to close a two point gap at the top.

The Bundesliga features both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in action, while Serie A provides a clash of heavy-hitters as Napoli takes on Juventus.

  1. Am I the only one who is way more interested in what’s happening domestically! MLS playoffs are more exciting this year then I can remember. Maybe it’s just me.

      • Rob – as a lover of Mexican football how can you make that kind of comment since LigaMX has playoffs too?

    • I am loving the mls postseason right now, as well! I am an LA fan but it’s been a long time since there have been this many legit contenders for the title. Dallas, Colorado, la, both NY teams, and maybe even Toronto all have a real shot. For myself, I would love LA to win, obviously, and if not them It would be cool to see the best player in the league get the hardware along with bradley and jozy at toronto; but my actual pick is Colorado. They are just too good on defense and unpredictable on offense.
