Giovani dos Santos returned from his Mexican National Team exile in October, and he has earned himself another call-up for Mexico’s first two games in the Hex.

The LA Galaxy star was named to Juan Carlos Osorio’s 25-man roster that will face the U.S. Men’s National Team on Nov. 11 and Panama on Nov. 15.

Dos Santos enjoyed a fantastic 2016, recording 14 goals and 12 assists in 28 appearances for the Galaxy. He also scored the decisive goal in LA’s first-leg victory over the Colorado Rapids in its Western Conference semifinal.

The 27-year-old has scored 18 goals in 91 caps for Mexico.

nobody seems to know what Osorio is doing formation or player selection wise..the goalkeeper and backline are a complete guess. Herrera, Hernandez and Guardado are the only locks along with Marquez cuz el Tri is nothing w/o old man marquez. Layun and Duenas are close to locks as they are the only fullbacks on the list if he goes to the 5-2-3. seeing that the US is most likely to go with a 442 (Wood-Altidore up top) the 3331 falls into Osorio’s logic.

any way you cut it – their backline is vulnerable but any combinations of attackers are absolutely lethal – I feel like I have left this comment about on Mexico before and the scoreline is often the same!
