After the final weekend of regular season and conference tournament action, the field is set for the 48-team men’s college soccer tournament.
The first round of College Cup action will kick off on Thursday night. The 16 highest-ranked teams receive a first round-bye, and will host the winner of Thursday’s play-in games on Sunday.
Maryland enters the tournament as the top-ranked team, and will meet the winner of Thursday’s match between Providence and Delaware. Rounding out the top five are fellow contenders Wake Forest, Clemson, Louisville and Stanford.
The third round will take place November 26 and 27, with the quarterfinals being played December 2 and 3. The final three matches of the College Cup will be hosted by BBVA Compass Stadium on December 9 and 11.
