A spot in the MLS Cup is on the line on Sunday afternoon.

The Colorado Rapids play host to the Seattle Sounders at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for the second leg of the Western Conference finals. The Sounders enter Sunday’s match with a 2-1 advantage, but the Rapids’ away goal in the first leg could prove vital if Pablo Mastroeni’s side can poach a goal.

Andreas Ivanschitz joins the Sounders lineup, while both Brad Evans and Erik Friburg were left off the team’s gameday roster. The Rapids, meanwhile, are without Sam Cronin, who is suspended for Sunday’s match.

The SBI staff will be offering updates and analysis in the comments section below, so feel free to follow along, and as always, please feel free to share your own thoughts and opinions below.

Enjoy the action.

    • Free kick coming for the Rapids, as Jones is hacked down on the left side. Gashi on it, and the ball is good, but it squeezes through everyone and out of the box.

      • Yellow for Torres. Caught upfield and blocks a free kick to cause a delay. Pretty bad yellow for a central defender. Will need to be very careful now.

      • Sounders get VERY lucky. Ball across the face of goal slips just be Le Toux. Fortunate for the Sounders there.

      • HALFTIME: Scoreless through the first half. Seattle will be more than happy so far, but Rapids still just a goal away. Both teams with plenty to build on and plenty to do.

      • GOAL JORDAN MORRIS!!! Seattle now with a MASSIVE advantage. Valdez feeds Morris, who lifts one over a sliding MacMath. 3-1 on aggregate, Rapids need 2.
