Ventura Alvarado, Jorge Villafana and Santos Laguna sputtered to a frustrating Copa MX defeat, falling 2-1 to second division side Coras Tepic. The loss sees Santos Laguna earn the club’s second defeat in as many Copa MX matches, pushing them to last in Group 3.
