Edinson Cavani’s impeccable form as of late has Paris Saint-Germain thinking of yet another Coupe de La Ligue title this season, and the club will try to take its next step toward accomplishing that feat on Tuesday.

The three-time reigning champion of the competition will travel to take on Bordeaux in the semifinals today with its Argentine striker playing at his personal best.

Cavani became the first player out of any of the major European leagues to reach 20 goals this season during the weekend and he will try to repeat his performance against Bordeaux during league play last October when he tallied a brace.

Elsewhere, Coppa Italia will see Napoli host Fiorentina in quarterfinals action and the Spanish Copa del Rey pitting Deportivo Alavés against Alcorcón. Alavés holds a 2-0 aggregate lead and will try to secure a berth in the tournament’s semifinals.

Also on Tuesday’s ledger is African Cup of Nations action, with Morocco taking on Ivory Coast and Togo facing Congo. Capping the night will be four Copa MX fixtures.
