Continental action dominated the midweek slate, but the league schedule returns this weekend with several top-notch matches.

German action presents several headliners, including John Brooks and Hertha Berlin’s clash with Timmy Chandler and Eintracht Frankfurt. Bobby Wood remains probable for this weekend, though, as Hamburg faces off with league-leaders Bayern Munich.

In England, the Championship provides the most intriguing matchups, including one with two teams near the top of the table. Danny Williams and Reading sit fourth, eight points behind second-place Brighton and Hove Albion, who they face this weekend. Newcastle United, meanwhile, remains atop the table as DeAndre Yedlin looks to continue his hot form against Bristol City.

Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund face Freiburg, Fabian Johnson and Alfredo Morales collide and Emerson Hyndman looks to continue to shine for Rangers against Inverness.
