The slate of matches across the globe may be small for Tuesday, but it’s headlined by one of massive importance in Spain, as two of the country’s giants face off for a spot in the Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid face off at the Camp Nou to determine the first finalist in the Spanish cup competition. Barca leads the two-legged series 2-1 after a victory at Vicente Calderon a week ago.The winner of Tuesday’s match will play either Alaves or Celta Vigo in the final.

Over in Italy, Fiorentina will look to make up ground on the top six in Serie A as it takes on Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. A win by the Viola would make the fight for European places a bit more muddled in Italy. A victory for Roma would bring it within four points of leaders Juventus.

    • Wood has been playing the only striker in a 4-5-1 as of late, can u see arena starting Wood and sitting altidore, and going 5 in the midfield and if so who would your 5 be?

      • I really don’t see that happening barring injury.

If he did I would think Bruce would go
        Pulisic-Nagbe-Bradley-Jones-Zardes

      • Ill bite with the hopes of interjecting some hopeful creativity and speed into our line up. Assuming we role out in a 4-2-3-1 type setting I would go with Jones and MB (shut up and deal with it) as my two with Jones more of a free lancer and the three would wide left Nagbe, center attacking Sacha, and Pulisic out wide right. My alternative would be switching Nagbe to the CAM and inserting Green out left and Pulisic out right, thats assuming a strong couple of games form Green with Stuggart.
