It’s a day of continental competition on Wednesday, as UEFA’s two contests return to action, while CONCACAF continues their own Champions League play, and the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores continues as well.

Early on, the UEFA Europa League returns to action at noon with three matches on today’s schedule. Saint-Etienne and Manchester United lead the slate with leg two of Pogba-on-Pogba action, while the Bundesliga’s Schalke 04 take on Greek opponents PAOK. Finally, Fenerbahce welcome Krasnodar to Turkey.

La Liga returns shortly afterwards, with Real Madrid slated to visit Valencia in league play. The league leaders look to expand the gap between themselves and their lagging rivals, Barcelona, while Valencia hope to continue their rise from a disappointing first half of the year that saw the team floundering in relegation territory.

The UEFA Champions League is next on the slate, with a pair of high quality matches. Portuguese giants Porto welcome Italian juggernauts Juventus to town to open their two-legged fixture, while Leicester City enter their first ever knockout round against Spanish regulars Sevilla.

Later on, the Copa Libertadores returns to action with just a single match between Deportivo Capiata of Paraguay and Atletico PR of Brazil on the TV slate for leg two of the third stage of the competition.

Finally, the CONCACAF Champions League returns to play after the winter break, as the New York Red Bulls take on the Vancouver Whitecaps in the first leg of their quarterfinals match. Meanwhile, two Liga MX sides face off in the second match with Tigres taking on Pumas.
