Just one game into his LA Galaxy career, Jermaine Jones has been hit with a suspension. Unfortunately for the Galaxy, he’s not the only player that earned the MLS Disciplinary Committee’s scorn.

MLS announced on Wednesday that Jones and Dave Romey have been handed one game suspensions, which will knock them out of the Galaxy’s clash with the Portland Timbers on Sunday.

Jones’ suspension comes as a result of a foul on FC Dallas forward Cristian Colman. The U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder was assessed a yellow on the play, but the committee retroactively suspended Jones for “serious foul play and endangered the safety of an opponent”.

Romney, meanwhile, earned a one-match ban for embellishment in the 52nd minute of the Galaxy’s 2-1 loss to FC Dallas.
