Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

Wednesday provides a full slate of soccer action, offering everything from cup clashes to international matches to CONCACAF Champions League deciders.

The day starts in Spain as both Barcelona and Real Madrid take the field in an effort to further their push for the La Liga crown. Barcelona is in action first for a clash with Sporting Gijon before Real Madrid plays host to Las Palmas.  Meanwhile, in England, the FA Cup continues as David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town takes on Manchester City.

In the evening, the action turns towards North America, beginning with a clash between Mexico and El Salvador at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship. CONCACAF also features two Champions League clashes, as FC Dallas looks to ease past Arabe Unido while Pachuca and Tigres collide in a battle of Liga MX sides.

Additionally, the U.S. Women’s National Team kicks off the SheBelieves Cup, facing European powerhouse Germany.
