Madrid Derby, Juve-Monaco set for UCL semifinals

The UEFA Champions League’s final four is now officially set for the semifinal round.

UEFA conducted the Champions League’s semifinal draw on Friday as Atletico Madrid was paired with rivals Real Madrid in a rematch of the 2016 finale. Juventus, meanwhile, booked a pair of dates with Monaco in the other semifinal pairing.

Real Madrid will host Atletico at the Bernabeu on May 2 before travelling to the Calderon eight days later, while Juventus will head to Monacoon May 3 before the Ligue 1 club visits Turin on May 9. The final will then be played at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on June 3.

In addition, UEFA also conducted the Europa League’s semifinal draw, which will see Manchester United take on Celta Vigo while Ajax faces Lyon. The two-legged ties will begin on May 4 with the second legs scheduled for May 11.
