Soccer Tuesday: Your Running Commentary

Tuesday is a Champions League day in both Europe and North America.

Following last week’s first legs, the UEFA Champions League returns on Tuesday with a pair of quarterfinal matchups. Action is headlined by Bayern Munich’s match against Real Madrid as the German side looks to erase a one-goal deficit from the opening leg as the two heavyweights collide at the Bernebeu.

In Tuesday’s other match, another Spanish side, Atletico Madrid, will also push for a spot in the final with a one-goal advantage. The reigning runners-up sealed a 1-0 victory at the Vicente Calderon last time out but now face a visit to the King Power Stadium for a match against Premier League champions Leicester City.

When the evening rolls around, eyes will then turn towards the CONCACAF Champions League as Liga MX sides Tigres and Pachuca collide in the first leg of the competition’s finale.
