Timmy Chandler played a big part in Eintracht Frankfurt’s win over the weekend, and the U.S. Men’s National Team defender was recognized for his efforts on Tuesday.
Chandler was named to the Bundesliga’s Team of the Week on Tuesday for his efforts in a 3-1 win over FC Augsburg. Chandler provided an assist in the victory, feeding Marco Fabian for the game’s opening goal. The Mexican international joined Chandler on the Team of the Week for his two-goal performance in the win.
The Matchday 30 Team of the Week is headlined by several big names, including Bayern Munich’s Arjen Robben as well as Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele.
Chandler and Frankfurt return to action Tuesday for a DFB-Pokal clash with Borussia Monchengladbach before returning to league play on Sunday against Hoffenheim.
