Borussia Monchengladbach and the U.S. Men’s National Team received a boost on Tuesday.
Fabian Johnson has returned to training with ‘Gladbach following a thigh strain he suffered in March against Schalke in the Europa League.

Johnson was forced to miss both of the USMNT’s World Cup qualifiers against Honduras and Panama as a result. He has been out for the last eight games for ‘Gladbach as well.
It’s possible that Johnson could be available off the bench for the weekend against Augsburg, though it could be a bit too early for a return. ‘Gladbach has three matches left in the Bundesliga season.
