USMNT remains 23rd, Mexico drops a spot in latest FIFA ranking

The U.S. Men’s National Team is still the 23rd best team in the world, according to FIFA’s latest world ranking.

The USMNT, who have a friendly against Venezuela on Saturday before a pair of CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, did not move anywhere in the list released by the sport’s governing body on Thursday.

There wasn’t much change at the top of the chart either as the top 10 remained the same, with Brazil leading the way. Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain round out the top 10.

Movement was scarce near the top of the list, but one nation that did suffer a drop in the June rankings was Mexico, who fell to 17th. England and Peru jumped over El Tri after the month of May.
