Gonzalez, Davies, Adams headline MLS Homegrown roster

MLS has unveiled what is likely the most talented roster yet for the MLS Homegrown game.

Jesse Gonzalez, Alphonso Davies and Tyler Adams headline the MLS roster to take on the Chivas de Guadalajara Under-20 Team in the fourth annual MLS Homegrown Game, which is set for Aug. 1 at Toyota Park. The Homegrown team will be coached by U.S. Men’s National Team legend Brian McBride while Mike Magee will serve as an assistant coach.

Joining Davies is fellow Canadian National Team member Jordan Hamilton, while Adams headlines a list of five players who played for the U.S. at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup earlier this year.

On the other side, the Chivas U-20s are the reigning Liga MX U-20 champions and feature five players who represented Mexico at the U-20 World Cup. The full roster will be named at a later date.
