A trio of American found the back of the net over the weekend, headlining Americans Abroad.
Lynden Gooch, Terrence Boyd and Romain Gall all scored goals on the club level over the weekend. Gooch’s came from the penalty spot in a 2-1 loss to Cardiff City while Terrence Boyd fired the first of two late goals in a come-from-behind 3-3 draw for Darmstadt. Gall, meanwhile, also scored in a draw as Sundsvall tied, 2-2, with Jonkopings Sodra.
In Bundesliga play, Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund ran rampant over Fabian Johnson and Borussia Monchengladbach. Another young American, Weston McKennie, earned another start for Schalke while Julian Green played a full 90 as well in the 2. Bundesliga.
Elsewhere, Matt Miazga led Vitesse to a big win over Ajax and Cameron Carter-Vickers helped take down Sheffield Wednesday en route to a derby win.

Johansson did play for Werder Bremen II in the 3Bundesliga, I read one report that he was returning from injury, but I didn’t remember hearing that he was injured.
Hyndman did very well with Rangers in the SPL, I wish Bournemouth would loan him out again so he could get minutes.
Hyndman got 5 minutes at the end of their last Cup game. He was injured right before the season and had multiple setbacks during preseason that kept aggravating the stress fracture. There are some recent reports (google Daily Echo + Hyndman) that he is completely healed now and playing well in the U-21 games. Howe is supposedly a big fan, so hopefully he starts making the 18 in the next few weeks. Bournemouth is awful right now, so I’d imagine all spots are up for grabs.
Gary- Emerson was just getting back onto the pitch in games as the window closed, similar to last year, I would imagine he will be loaned out again in January if he hasn’t made the regular 18. Bournemouth reserves play in one of the lower reserve leagues so it wouldn’t do him much good to spend the whole season with them.
Green had 6 shots, 4 on target, but no goals.
It’s great for 19 players to have minutes but so many losses.

From what I saw of Yedlin (his game was opposite of a Bundesliga game with an American, so I was going back and forth), I thought he looked pretty good.
