Admit it. As much as you love the English Premier League, you’ve found yourself yearning for some variety in your European soccer viewing during this winter break for most leagues.
Well, La Liga is back and just in time. Real Madrid and Barcelona will be back in action and, more importantly, on TV for you to watch. The Spanish league heads the menu this weekend, with the EPL taking a break for the FA Cup, which will also be featured this weekend.
This weekend’s marquee match-up features Villarreal traveling to Barcelona to face Espanyol on GolTV on Saturday.

Setanta have yet again shockingly underestimated the huge US market for quality football and overlooked the Swindon vs Barnet match.
Soccer on the internet – isn’t Setanta broadband the only place that does it legally? (apart from ESPN for UEFA games).

Setanta is ridiculous. The only way I’d pay is if they had exclusive rights to EPL, Serie A, and La Liga. I can watch enough games on other channels that I don’t feel the need to pay $10/month for 1 channel. If there is a game I really want to see, I’ll go to a soccer pub.

Anyway, my request is that you also list games that are viewable via the internet. Due to high satellite TV costs (especially Setanta) I’ve decided to try to catch my games on the web and find I have fairly good access to top notch matches.
