There was no shortage of quality goals this week as several highlight-reel-worthy strikes helped give MLS week one a sorely-needed boost.
I will bring you my pick for the three best each week and this week there were so many good ones that a few quality goals didn’t make the cut, including Cuauhtemoc Blanco’s late equalizer vs. Real Salt Lake or Omar Cummings goal against Colorado.
SBI goal of the week honors for week one go to New England’s Sainey Nyassi, who’s beautiful interception, run and finish served as the best moment in a masterful performance by New England on Saturday. Here is the goal:
