Good morning folks. Apologies for the delay in getting this post up but there was a glitch in the Matrix.
If you are watching soccer on TV today then please share your thoughts, opinions and even your play by play in the comments section below.
Enjoy the action.
nery castillo looked like he needed a right leg today in man. city vs. tottenham. althought he created good chances but wasn’t allowed to use his left.
Johnny……you changed that plan of how Fulham was going to avoid relegation, didn’t you? Tsk, Tsk.
Gregg Berhalter scored for 1860 in their tie today! Wolff went the full 90, as well.
Just got back from attending the Fulham vs. Everton match. Was definitly well worth the price of admission (even with the horrible exchange rate) to see Tim Howard matched up against Keller. I was sitting with the Everton supporters and it was clear from the first few minutes that everyone sensed Fulham was the better team today. They definitly appeared to be playing with a lot more energey and wanted it more. Eddie Johnson looked impressive but should have done better with some of his chances.
That’s a bit hopeful Johnny but I do like the optimism.
Oh, it is so nice to hear Phil Schoen and Ray Hudson after what we had to endure from FSC this week…

COME ON YOU WHITES!!!
Zaragoza outshoots Villarreal 17-7 and out-corners them 14-1, and loses 2-0. Game over.
5 of 11 were PKs, in La Liga. For some reason, their Depor win, and his goal, are listed twice in the gamelog.
I’m not slating the guy, despite his decision to refuse to play for the US, and its always nice to be clinical from the penalty spot, but it just seems like everytime he scores its on a penalty…
I’m looking for the data…but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were more than half.
I am with Chase. Overblown stats.
ugh. let me not start. ive been good for weeks. ugh.
Get in! Great job Mcbride!!! Helps out Fulhams chance of staying up (slim). Also helps out my club (Liverpool) into the fourth and final CL spot.
Good on Mcbride!!!
How many of Rossi’s 12 goal this season have come from the penalty spot? I’d reckon at least half of them…
Fulham still needs to avoid dropping points, and need either Newcastle, Birmingham City, or Sunderland to continue their downward slides to have a legitimate chance of staying up. It seems that Reading and Wigan have been playing pretty well recently and aren’t as strong of candidates of dropping as they were a month ago.
With a fixture list including, Newcastle, Derby, Sunderland, and Reading in the next month. I think it is fully possible for them to get themselves out of the drop zone. Though they end the season with a rough set of games against Liverpool, Man City, Birmingham (a potentially huge game), and Portsmouth that could put them right back in.
Rossi almost w/ his second…
Zaragoza is dominating Villarreal, but is losing 2-0. Rossi just came in, and his first touch is a PK for a goal.
Man City gets an equalizer against Spurs that was clearly offside
Bolton loss puts Fulham only 2 points away from them – Bolton 25 pts & Fulham 23.
mastershake – Check out livesoccertv.com for TVU or sopcast channels. ESPN360 worked well for me last night with the US game.
EJ played pretty good and linked well with McBride, though he did have one of his mind-blowing lapses where he gives up far too easily on a play, when he was given a nice throughball from Davies, but immediately ajudged it to be too far away and exhibited no effort to pursue it, the announce team was flabbergasted.
Anyway, LFC supporters everywhere are thankful Fulham, I truly hope they make a West Ham-esque escape from the drop.
does anyone know where i can watch the U23 besides ESPN360 or ESPND ??? like TVU Player or something? I really want to watch them !!! 🙁
Duece came in laye – but he and Bullard on the field do not mesh – they play the same game. Thats my guess.
btw – Man City looks like they are takin a late season nose dive.
What’s going on with Deuce? Has the coach lost faith in him?
McBride scores, Fulham stay alive until at least Newcastle away on saturday.
Eddie looked good second half! Lots of scoring opportunities, inching closer and closer . . . I think he and McBride worked pretty well!
did anyone happen to see the game and if so how did Eddie do this time??
WE LIVE! WE LIVE!
All thanks to BigHead McBride!
Another reason I love em – he has to have a size 8 cap like me!
FULHAM STILL ALIVE!
Fulham did it! McHead, you still da man!
Come on Fulham!
