Enjoy the soccer!
Bocanegra is out of contract. So he only has to endure this for a few weeks more. The rest of the Americans might not be so lucky.
Great game in Rome, Roma was up 2-0 into the 2nd half when Genoa stormed back and tied it. DeRossi just scored in the 82nd, 3-2 Roma.
More like Eddie Gaven will take the field and cry about being traded in the first place. Although, most Red Bulls fans, including myself, regret that trade.
More like Gaven and Rogers will slip on some bullsh*t tonight. Go Red Bulls!
I am expecting Gaven and Rogers to kick some Bull tonite!

Kaka with a beauty, 1-0 Milan in the 8th
Serie A continues a delightful year of action
Gareth Barry with an amazing performance against Bolton. Two goals, two assists.
The buildup to Agbonlahor’s goal was simply breathtaking. Villa shredded Bolton’s defense.
I think Fulham’s lost today doomed them. If they could’ve won today and squeaked out another 1-2 wins somewhere, they might’ve survived. But at this point, they’re toast.
McBride for the Olympic team!
3-0 to Newcastle. 3rd win in a row, and climbing the table. Probably not going to make it into Europe even if they manage to win out, but could they squeak into the Intertoto Cup? Who knows.
Reading’s in trouble, though.
Fulham…GONE, DEAD, AND BURIED.
Yep..other than the corner he took, not too bad…some good touches but doesn’t look confident.
So far, Convey has looked pretty good. I think he has been 100% on his passes and looks very comfortable out there.
Convey’s on for Reading at the 61st minute. But Reading’s down 3-0 as all three Newcastle strikers have scored and the defense actually hasn’t embarrassed themselves.
What the hell happen to Arsenal?
Ives, your post needs to be corrected. . .should read “. . . began with Arsenal-Liverpool”
So why can’t Boca bust into the line up at Fulham? Does the coach not like him or does he not pair well with the other defenders?
Johnny I saw that, I think that was definitely a first.
1-0 Sunderland now on a busted corner kick.
Newcastle goal by Owen, now 2-0 at halftime.
Goal Sunderland. Nooooo!
Tell me someone is watching the Newcastle and Reading game. Michael Owen just scored and after he scored one of his teammates lifted him up and stuck his head between his legs. Ives, this needs to be the next “You Write The Caption.”
Johnny – you can follow it live here:

1-0 Chelsea v Man City 32nd minute.
Dave how are you watching the game?
EJ you have to finish your chances if you want to play.
You also have to attempt a shot to score.
Oh and Eddie Johnson did not dress for this game.
I’ve actually heard the phase “that’s nice defending from Newcastle” used without tongue planted firmly in cheek. I’m not sure if Satan’s got is long-johns on, but not long ago I wouldn’t have expected to hear that line anywhere near a Toon game.
Johnny – a Sunderland goal was just disallowed.
MZ is doesn’t look like there is a live feed for the Fulham game today. Let’s consider it a blessing in disguise.
GOAL NEWCASTLE!
As a Liverpool fan, let me say that Voronin is awful. His ponytail is the only entertainment he offers . . . other than guessing how he will squander chances:
1) miss the ball and fall over? check
2) Show the world that you have no left foot as you punt it over the bar forcing it off your right? check
And so on . . .
Plessis looked fantastic for the Pool in his first game with the big kids.
Can someone explain to Christian Miles that Columbus has never used their DP slot? This is about the 4th or 5th time I’ve seen him on the channel claiming that Schelotto is a DP. Though to be fair, at least he doesn’t may Bretos’ consistent mistake of calling him “Es-schelotto”. If Bretos is calling the game tonight, I might reach into the TV and strangle him.
I actually thought Arsenal got much better of the play in the second half, and Liverpool in the first. Liverpool had more clear-cut chances down the stretch, but that’s because they were playing for the counter. And let’s be honest: there was no chance Voronin was ever scoring. If it were Torres who had those chances, Liverpool would’ve stolen the extra two points. But I highly doubt that any Arsenal fan was really all that worried seeing Voronin run at their defense in the second half.
Liverpool-Arsenal was better than most “Big 4” games — really didn’t know right up to the end whether Arsenal would be able to break them down or whether Liverpool would strike on the counter.
Liverpool 1 Aresenal 1. Liverpool looked the more likely to come away with a win the second half. Veronin missed a couple easy chances. Hleb on Arsenal blew the game winner in the 92nd with a bad trap. Look for Liverpool to take Arsenal out of the champions league.
anyone have a fulham sunderland feed for media player
if so post the link
