  1. Getafe pulled back a shock equalizer away against Bayern Munich to finish 1-1. I watched Rangers-Sporting, and while no great football was played it was very intense. Credit to Zenit for playing well.

  2. The shame is that they didn’t choose to show the Sporting vs. Rangers game. I followed it online and while it was a low scoring affair it was very heated battle. Not sure that Zenit vs. Leverkussen is a better game and sure wouldn’t get a better rating then the aforementioned Sporting vs Rangers game. We will have to wait until Sporting knocks off Rangers to get some respect I guess.

  3. Toni with a nice header to put Munich up 1 – 0. But it wasn’t as cool as his disallowed goal where he took the ball from the goalie as he tossed it up to punt it. They said it was still considered in the keeper’s possession and gave him a free kick, but I think if you aren’t going to pay attention like that you deserve to get punished.

Yikes! Triple header of UEFA on FSC followed by an ESPN MLS double?!?
