In case you hadn’t heard, Chris Rolfe was awarded goal of the week by Major League Soccer.
No, I’m not kidding.
While Rolfe’s goal was nice, it can’t stand up to either of David Beckham’s two goals against Real Salt Lake.
So which goal really deserved goal of the week? The SBI award for this week goes to Beckham’s long-range free kick that tied the match bomb against RSL (yes, the SBI Mafia spoke and I listened. I’ll give the nod to the first Beckham goal):
