Kansas City Wizards at Real Salt Lake: Your Running Commentary

The Kansas City Wizards travel to Utah tonight to face Real Salt Lake in their final match of a brutal five-match road trip.

The Wizards won’t have an easy time finding points at Rice-Eccles Stadium, where RSL is unbeaten this year. Real Salt Lake is coming off a 3-1 win against San Jose, but will have a tougher time against a stronger KC team coming off a bye week and hungry for points.

If you will be watching the match, and will be online, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

Enjoy the match.

  1. Great save by Hartman on a wickedly hard and accurate shot by Findley. Too bad he didn’t have a better angle, it would have been unstoppable.

Findley’s shot is really getting dangerous. This guy could be good.

  2. Fine, I’m leaving! However, I’m going to make at least one comment on the game before I leave.

Alright this is what I’ll say. Earlier in the season when Ives made KC one of the top teams, I didn’t understand it and compared the two rosters. I determined that apart from the offense and depth, San Jose’s “joke” expansion team was probably just as good as KC. Oh how I was ridiculed! Well, I’d just like to take this opportunity to say SJ is one point behind KC at this moment, and seem to be playing better, and we’re a third of the way into the season.

  3. Seriously- I’ll be watching the DCU vs Chicago game too as soon as it comes back on, but it’s half time. Is it that even the half time show is better than watching RSL at home?
