  1. thought Prideaux did well in the last 30 min (the part of the game i saw)… had a mishap, but overall in that 30 min i thought he was pretty solid….

felt bad for Conde who did the splits late in the game…. ouch

  2. It was a good game with some good atmosphere. Mexican Chivas practiced before the game and if u had a ticket you could watch so that brought the latino crowd. 20,500 there. I think we got a pretty good pickup with Marco Pappa. He is very confident and not afraid to go at a player which is what we need right now. With McBride coming we need someone to beat a defender and put a ball in. Hopefully he will light a fire under Mapp’s ass and he’ll start playing or Denis can sit Mapp. It also showed yeterday that we are hurting on the right side of defense.

  3. Nyarko came to VT straight from Ghana. He was one of two kids from Ghana that Coach Weiss brought over and the other one left after a season at VT with Patrick staying until he got his degree.

  4. for some odd reason when i saw it said it was on HDNET i figured it wouldnt be on MLSlive.tv… i came in at the 60th….

great pickup by the fire… a much needed victory… and without blanco in the lineup… Nyarko getting his first offical start and getting his first goal…. excellent work all around… solid defense too, b/c what little i saw, CUSA had the more dangerous play (last half hour)…

  5. It concerns me the front play of our national team in the future. Rumors make Realities. Start it now. Nyarko looks to have a first touch we in Italia call Bello. I believe that is exactly what Jozy would need to complement his talents in a partnership up front. Can you blame me? I live in Italy and every weekend at the Pubs I get into arguments about Rossi. So, you know you have to do something. Italy is one of the great powerhouses in the world and they are bringing Amauri from Brazil to i Azzurri. Emilio? Youngsters like Nyarko? We did it with Adu, Ibrahim, and hopefully Subotic.

  6. 16th- GOAL FIRE. Nyarko finishes one just two minutes after having one waive off. Nyarko runs onto a loose ball in the area and hits a nice turn and shot. Great skill.

  7. Nyarko has a would-be goal waived off for offside. Looked pretty good at first. Wow, after the replay I have to say that’s VERY close.

  8. If anyone is on here I missed the start. What is the Starting XI for the Fire? I know Nyarko got the start. It is my first look at him. I’ve been gone for a while.

  9. Ives, Is Kljestan gonna be here tonight or will he still be with the Olympic team? If he is, do you expect him to play the whole 90? I cant say the game against Cameroon was exactly the prettiest
