    1. subotic had quite an eventful game with a goal and a handball that gave up a pk, but what a game and a big comeback for Dortmund against Schalke 3-3

    2. Crew – Toronto just kicked off. Ricard Salazar is refereeing, so expect at least one “what the?!” call, and at least 1 card/team not given that should be

    3. Class performance from Chelsea. On the road, given the big press surrounding the match, Robinho scores the opener…and then Chelsea, missing 3 starters imposed their will.

City will need Elano to provide distribution, I think. Also, I’ll say that Jo is going to be a beast…he’s so young that some of the finer elements will come to him. He’s unselfish too which really helps.

    4. Belletti from Chelsea would be another good one… and just wanted to point out that SWP looks like the $50mil man out there, not Robinho outside of that lovely free-kick.

    5. Richard Dunne looks like he’s the one 35yrs old out there… instead of Hamman. Good sub to get Gelson in too, although looks like Micah is still nursing some injuries. I knew City would miss Corluka more than they thought. Ben-Haim is still much worse than either CB option we have. Looks like the Abu Dhabi’s will throw some money down to buy another CB… or LB too. Can anyone say Gallas + . Then we also need a DM to replace Hamman if we’re playing the 4-5-1 like they did today. With Petrov/Elano we should sit Ireland and buy a real target striker. Jo looks like a teradactyl and plays like a ogre.

    6. “Rangers are in control of the match. Key player: DaMarcus Beasley”

I saw this in the commentary on sky sports. That was in the 40th minute. Not sure how Rangers were in control by being down 1 to 0, and also not sure why Beasley was subbed if he was playing so well. Hopefully no injury.

Still made me smile to read that.

    7. I think that the Arsenal can use another striker. While Adebayor scores a beautiful header, I am getting tired of the numerous offsides calls.

Glad to see they got the three points tho. 🙂

    8. 81st minute- Xisco score to get one back for Newcastle! and now, typically, I have grasped this thin stread of hope.

My prognostication instincts are right on target, by the way.

    9. 78th minute- Newcastle do not play the ball out when Marney went down, which I did not like. Then Newcastle earns a free kick and Marney pops back up, which annoyed me. Of course, he came off before the free kick, so it was a moot point.

The game is wrapped up at this point, and has been for awhile.

    10. 67th minute- Hull look good or Newcastle back to its favored brand of comedic defending- I’m not quite sure which.

Newcastle about to bring on a defender. Bassong on for Edgar.
