  1. Wow, just when you thought Argentina was going to walk away with a win, Peru scores in the last minute of the game and ties the game. Exciting finish from Peru Vs Argentina. Final score Peru 1 Argentina 1.

  2. “The Swiss are done. You don’t recover from dropping points to Luxembourg.”

I can see how you’d say that, but look at their group. You telling me they can’t come in at least second, even with losing to Lux?

  3. “Result of the night has to be Luxembourg beating Switzerland 2-1”

Either that or Denmark scoring 3 goals in the last 10 minutes to beat Portugal in Lisbon.

  4. A decent start to the campaign by the Irish. There were hopes for taking all 6 from these first two games, but beating Montenegro at home was perhaps bound to be a bridge too far. Solidly in second in the group now, with Bulgaria needing a win verse Cyprus to keep pace later on in the campaign, which isn’t as easy as it sounds. Ask Italy.

Speaking of the Italians, they’re up 1 last time I checked, elsewhere in the Irish group. Odds that Georgia would stand a chance in Italy were extremely small.

  5. Germany Finalnd game is very entertaining. 2-2 at the half. The germans have had to come back twice. The Fins are playing very even with Germany; it’s not a couple fluke goals. Well the 2nd went off the keepers chest but it was rocket.
