  1. I have criticized Columbus for some paltry, docile crowds over the course of the season, but I sure can’t for last night’s game. Crew stadium was just about packed, and the crowd was loud, all in all it was a great soccer atmosphere and it looked great on TV. Beckham game or not, great turnout in Columbus, props to them. Well done.

  2. Colorodo v. Houston. When will MLS finally invest in some quality refs? This guy refing the game has made some horrible decisions.

  3. Crew 1-0 in a sloppy game in which Columbus played as tho they were more interested in chasing Beckham for an autograph than in imposing their will on the game. A mostly-invisible Schelotto just made Chad Marshall’s day much more impressive. Hesmer’s shutout was nice, but occasionally in question. Rogers exposed just how bad LA’s defense is, but instead of charging for goal, he kept trying to make the one….. more….. pass…..

Moreno in 43d on a cross from Danny O’Rourke.

  4. Braun comes on for Kljestan. Kljestan has looked good tonight and i expect a start for him in RFK next sunday. I would stride to say he’s possibly our partner for Bradley in the central midfield.

  5. Kljestan combined with Eskandarian and then Esky sends it in to the center, bad defending let the ball go through and Dejair slides into it 3-0 Chivas USA.
