D.C. United will make what could be its last stand for a playoff berth tonight as it plays host to the New England Revolution in a match it cannot afford to lose.

Can D.C. muster an attack without Marcelo Gallardo and Fred, and with a rusty Luciano Emilio? Will New England be able to finish D.C. off without Steve Ralston, who is out with a broken leg?

If you are watching tonight’s match (8pm, ESPN2), please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

Enjoy the match.

  1. What are you talking about Beckster? Francis Doe was on RBNY last year and scored a couple of goals for us. They cut him earlier this year before the season started. Not so sure you followed that one correctly buddy.

  2. Good win for them. Very happy, well besides a couple of mistakes and lost chances. Least they didn’t give up after the first goal.

  4. These announcers are crap! “No one can tell me that Tom Soehn became a bad coach overnight”; “I’m sure DC would like to become the team they used to be”?

Answer to #1 – Tom Soehn was never a great coach but last year he had healthy great players and #2 – na…DC likes playing like crap with their 2nd and 3rd team players

  5. Well…it hasn’t been a banner start for the makeshift team of DC United but then the Revs haven’t been able to do much either. DC back line a bit shakey – 3 corners in a row. Shot Emilo….over
