  1. OH and Obama is the president of the United States. Just thought you would like to know that. Future leader of our country, not that big of a deal.

  2. Regarding the Liverpool match, definitely some of the worst officiating I have seen. Terrible terrible job by the officiating crew; a crew I hope to never see officiate another Champions League match.

  3. Wow, who among the Scousers bought the ref in that one? First, 4 minutes of phantom injury time and then the…ummmm…..penalty. I realize it didn’t matter that much to Liverpool’s likelihood of advancing but it was still bordering on the criminal. Inexplicable.

  4. Wish the Cypriots could’ve held on.

Not sorry to see Bremen lose.

Didn’t like the way Liverpool won, but didn’t see earlier non-call to compare.

Thank goodness for Slingbox! Got to watch Liv-Atl @ work online 🙂

  5. I didn’t see the earlier non-penalty, so maybe this was a make-up call. But why would you give a make-up call to someone at the 4:08 mark of 4 min of stoppage time.

And half of Atletico’s team got carded for dissent after the kick…

  6. Wow, what a WEAK penalty call against Atletico in the 93rd minute. Gerrard converts the PK and Liverpool escapes with a draw. Just a weak, weak call.
