WILLIAM AND MARY!
Go Irish! Play like the ND women…
Psh.
GO ‘GATE!!! Boston College ain’t got a chance!
kpugs – these aren’t pods like the NCAA basketball tournament. They’re home games set at the location of the higher seed.
Lots of ‘Eaters fans in here. ZOT!
Go Green! C’mon MSU and Coach Baum. Nice to see some other Sparty supporters in the comments section above.
ives,
no love for division II elite 8?
Go Gauchos!!
We have a young team, but should make a successful run in the playoffs!
Binghamton screwed out of an at large bid… well not screwed but we lose the America East finals, and played Maryland really tough only losing 1-0.
FSC carried the Dartmouth-Brown game last Friday(?). Dartmouth looked very good. Brown usually has a good team (alma mater of Cory Gibbs and Jeff Larentowicz), and Dartmouth make them look pretty bad.
tema la tortuga!! go terps! best program in the country
LETS GO HOOSIERS!!!!
looks like UC Berkeley is going to have a good run in the tourney. that have been on fire. They should have been seeded though. They beat and dominated maryland.
Fear the Turtle!! You know you don’t wanna mess with MD!! ACC Champs!!
GO GREEN!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to coach Joe Baum on a great career, what a way to end it!
Anteater Revolution!!! GO UCI
UNC and Duke in over Campbell??? Must be nice to have ACC power and fame…
Go UCSB. I know one of their coaches and they have a young team, but the 1st round bye and home field is huge for them.
State of Ohio is loaded
Nate,
You’re right! How could I forget USF? The alma mater of Quakes legend, John Doyle!
But Fairfield? When did they get a decent program?
Just for convenience sake, maybe it would be easier to mention the Jebby schools that aren’t included: Georgetown.
Any others?
Voodoo – don’t forget San Francisco and Fairfield – two more Jesuit schools. That’s 8 out of 48.
Let’s go Creighton! It’s too bad that game isn’t a couple of days later or I could have caught it while I was back home for Thanksgiving, they have a very nice soccer specific stadium…
GO UC BERKELEY! GO BEARS!
its good to see how well represented the northeast is, 7 teams coming out of New England, not half bad.
Hey all you Loyola, Creighton, SLU, BC & Gonzaga alums:
Why is it that Jebby universities always have very strong soccer programs? What’s going on? Is it some kind of S of J conspiracy?
I’m not being facetious. I’m curious.
Manhattan College got snubbed…
>.>
Go UC Irvine!
Rip ‘Em Eaters! Zot! Zot! Zot!!!!!
Indiana and possibly St Louis could be a classic 2nd round match-up
doug, my alma mater too… lc lost a tough one on sunday, glad to see they still received a bye for such a fabulous season.
So after the 2nd round, they’re down to 16 teams, I think. Anyone know where games between the 2nd round and College Cup are played? Can’t remember if it is a home game for higher seeds…
GAUUUUUUUUUUUUCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!
4 Big West teams are in, while only 2 Pac 10 teams are in.
Kentucky got a screw job here…one of the hottest teams going into the post season out there!
GO IRVINE!!
Lets go FDU!!! We gonna surprise a lot of people. Look out for Samson Malijani, he’s the real deal.
GO BEARS! C! A! L! FOR! NIA! California California Caliiiiifoorrrrnnnnnia!
That’s a nice picture of a guy that just lost to UVa. Go Hoos! 🙂
Ives…a mention of the sweet 16 for the women might be in order?
No respect for the Patriot League-
Holy Cross loses in Patriot League Finals and during the season beats BC and UMASS.
St. John’s a 3 seed? WEAK we handled them on Sunday.
USF Bulls are we!
Did they leave anybody out? Seriously. 48 teams?
Go Drake.
yeah demon deacons… man we rule… GLORY GLORY OLD WAKE FOREST, GLORY GLORY OLD WAKE FOREST, GLORY GLORY OLD WAKE FOREST, WE ARE MARCHING ON ON ON
No Rutgers so I could give two craps, but I wonder how they choose the locations each year, or if it’s always the same. California is yuuuuuge so I see how they might get three locations. I don’t get how Massachusetts does though. And I’m not even hating, just curious.
Let’s go Michigan State/Akron!
i guess i’ll have to join in to support my future med school: Go USF Bulls!
Loyola Chicago to upset Northwestern then Notre Dame.
HOO-HOO-HOO HOOSIERS!!!!
watch out for my alma mater Loyola MD. couldbe a darkhorse contender. Go Greyhounds!!!!
Watch out for my Louisville Cardinals as a sleeper.
Go CARDS!
UM-KC! C’Mon ‘Roos!
