  1. Crew up 1-0 @ half. Could be 4-1 w/ right bounces. KC only had 1 really good chance. Salazar is doing his usual dreadful ref job. Should’ve been at least 2 yellow cards for KC and 1 for CLB. At the rate we’re going there’s going to be a fight before he gets his head out of his ass.

  2. No problem watching the game here. Decent breaks on both sides. The difference is that the Crew buried their best chance, the Wizards didn’t.

  3. KC see did look sharper. I don’t know how Thompson didn’t score on his chance. I think the Crew are taking the momentum back. I wouldn’t be shocked if it were 2-0 at half. KC hasn’t sniffed the goal for awhile.

  4. The competition for starting striker for the next World Cup is on.

Altidore-tons of potential and just scored his 1st goal at Villarreal after 3 appearances.

Davies- who has scored 13goals throughout the sweden for Hammarby.

Donovan- Golden Boot winner for MLS and soon off to Europe

Cooper- Runner up to Donovan but has the talent and technique to play for a mid table team in Europe

Ching- 13 goals in 26 appearances for Houston and re-energized himself on national team duty with a few goals

    EJ- has the potential

  5. Looks like it will be a race for La Liga top scorer between David Villa and Samuel Eto’o. 2 of the best strikers in the world, hands down.

  6. I must say that minute of silence before the Pool match was pretty increbile to witness. Felt very intense to me.

The Pool need to score earlier in matches. They looked sloppy in the first half for the most part. Gerrard wasn’t good today I thought, besides the pass to RK.

  7. It’s La Liga O’clock. Real Madrid won another adventure, 4-3. How seriously can you take them if they haven’t posted a shut out since Sept?

Barca about to kick off, I knew they were hot but had missed Eto’o notching 9 goals in 8 games.

  8. Subs: 65th – Babel for Reira

    73rd – Torres for Keane

I hope Bob Bradley was watching EPL today, managers are making changes 5 – 10 mins before he makes his.

  9. The stream nazi’s are shutting down feeds left and right today on JTV. No good at all. I missed the 2nd goal, but it was coming. Good end to a poor half of soccer, but it’s the kind of game Liverpool shouldn’t have to sweat if they’re really gonna be champs.

And since I didn’t see it posted, Torres is available on the bench today.

  10. I’m only about 75 minutes into United vs. Arsenal. Great game so far, even if I hate the Gooners.

Nasri would have had that penalty as well in the 75th if he had gone down when he was being fouled. Instead he kept his feet (admirably) and then simply dove when he lost the ball (not very admirable).

  11. Liverpool smell blood in the water. WBA will be lucky to make it to half down 1. And give Gerrard the assist on Keane’s goal for the great pass to spring him.

  12. Oooooh, controversy (mild). Benayoun is released in the box, and his low shot half makes it under the keeper. The defender sliding behind him has his arm up, and the ball bounces off of it. It temporarily wakes up Anfield before they return to their respectful silence.
