barca v villareal
anybody got barca villareal link?
Jozys playing time is going to be nil with all four strikers healthy. hoepfully they will all be completley healthy and he will be loaned to Recrea. so he can play.
According to eurosport.yahoo.com Adu is expected to be starting up top with Pino.
Liverpool moves to 39 points after 18games 2 clear of Chelsea and is still no.1
I’m praying For Timmy to hold out against Everton for a win, hell a draw would be perfect.
Jozy not dressed today according to soccernet 🙁

Huh. Wanted the win. Time for Vil’re vs barca! 🙂 What are y’alls predictions?
93rd minute- Arsenal waste a long free kick opportunity. On the other end, a Liverpool foul ends their last attack of the match, and the referee blows the final whistle.
Full Time, 1-1.
91st minute- eboue is coming in for Nasri, and gets a decent ovation from the fans. Certainly better than his last one.
92nd minute- Van Persie gets a header off but without much pace, and was saved comfortably.
Lucas is coming off, I mean.
90th minute- Good cross in from the left, but el Zahr can only manage to head wide right!
88th minute- Lucas coming in for Ngog, Liverpool’s final substitution.
87th minute- Agger rips a shot from distance that goes just wide high and left of the Arsenal goal.
84th minute- el Zahr sends a ball in to a streaking Dirk Kuyt, but Almunia comes out to intercept the ball. Almunia has played well in this match.
81st minute- Lucas earns a yellow card. Robbie Keane is taken off for el Zahr.
Arsenal sill look interested in getting a winner as they earn the corner, while Liverpool’s substitutions seem to suggest Liverpool are happy with the result a it stands.
75th minute- Gerrard makes a run on the ball and goes down in the box. The referee says to play on, and Gerrard is not happy about it.
72nd minute- Carragher with a yellow for taking down Van Persie.
Van Persie ends up with a shot that deflects off a Liverpool defender that the keeper comes out to save.
71st minute- Babel is on for Riera.
70th minute- Sagna earns a yellow card for a challenge.
66th minute- Van Persie earns a yellow card from a challenge from behind.
Hmm don’t know if I agree with those yellows cards he got. Hopefully Pool will capitalize on it.
Spain has Torres and Villa as their starting strikers and the legend that is Raul and Guiza as subs.
England has Rooney and Defoe/Bent/Crouch as super subs. I agree, Agbonlahor should be starting in not just the World Cup but in qualifying soon.
Hell who does the USA has? Donovan? We have Altidore, he should be up to qualifying for sure. Cooper needs time but can hack it im sure. Davies would be great as a super sub? Please no EJ or Ching.
Thanks Krista. Appreciate the help.
62nd minute- Adebayor is given a 2nd yellow and sent off! The first yellow was soft, and this second one seems equaly so.
Without Fabregas, now down a man, this is a big ask for Arsenal the rest of the match.
Ashley Young heading to Real Madrid?
Gabriel Agbonlahor, Gareth Barry, Martin Laursen and Brad Friedel leading AV to Champions League? If Agbonlahor can score more than 15goals this season i know for sure he will be starting for England come the next World Cup. He will be ahead of Defoe and Bent and Crouch will just be a super-sub if lucky.
West Brom and Blackburn will be relegated. I doubt Tottenham or Newcastle will. I’m sure Stoke City will be relegated. Man City has a great chance of being relegated but West Ham will probably be. Poor Dean Ashton, England career over before you knew it.
59th minute- Gerrard plays a free kick on the ground to Keane who was correctly flagged offsides.
57th minute- Kuyt earns a corner from a deflected shot after another good buildup, though Gerrard is limping around slightly.
Agger headed the corner well wide.
55th minute- Liverpool have been in control this half, which is understandable considering the loss of Fabregas for Arsenal.
RS – Check out eurosport.yahoo.com They have a lineup posted.
47th minute- Liverpool with an early good chance as Lucas takes a shot from the edge of the penalty area that Almunia dives to parry.
Fabregas had to come off due to an injury from a tackle at the end of the 1st half. He was replaced by Abou Diaby as the 2nd half begins.
I’m pretty sure Altidore will be a sub 2day. If he could get an assist or a goal, it would be the greatest Christmas gift for him. Dempsey already got his. He will be be part of the starting XI for the rest of the season, no doubt.
Hope Michael Bradley asks Santa for a better defense and goal scorer for BMG. Ohh and Adu, needs to score a goal so he can even get the slightest approval from his manager.
Yes Keane. 3rd goal of the season. He needs quite a few more in this game and next week in order to not get the boot in January. Liverpool can do this 🙂 I don’t see Arsenal staying in the game. AV is taking the 4th spot. No doubt
46th minute- Kuyt ripped a shot from distance which forced a save from the keeper, but the subsequent corner came to nothing.
Half Time.
45th minute- Kuyt squares a ball in for Gerrard, but the timing was off and Gerrard blasted the ball over the bar!
Nice work by Kuyt to win the ball, and it was a matter of inches on the pass that leaves the score tied.
KEANOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOL GOL GOL!!!!
42nd minute- Goal Liverpool! Robie Keane got behind the defense on a long ball from the back, and Keane blasted the ball into the net!
Another good effort, and the match is even at one.
38th minute- Adebayor with a yellow for Arsenal.
“Monaco’s squad is down to the bare bones ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Ligue 1 title contenders Bordeaux at the Stade Louis II.
The principality club could be without as many as 11 players for their last match before the winter break”
-Maybe Adu will finally see some action today
33rd minute- Arsenal give Liverpool a free kick just about straight on in a good spot, which Gerrard hit right at Almunia.
30th minute- Arsenal have controlled the ball decisively since the goal, though Haven’t really had a chance to speak of.
That was great control by Van Persie.
Anybody have any idea about Villareal’s starting lineup today or where the best place to look for it early? Thanks.
Van Persie for the wonder goal, 24th minute, “chocolate leg” for the win!!!
Ugh. I really dont like Van pressie.
24th minute- Goal Arsenal! Nasri hit a beautifully lobbed long pass to Van Persie which split the centerbacks. Van Persie took it down off his chest, and ripped a shot past the keeper! That was brilliant.
I believe he’s been a striker. It was him and Johnson startin up front yesterday.
So not a yellow for Keane. All ball people.
Glad to see Agger and Keano in the lineup today.
Does anyone know where dempsey has been playing for most the season? Is he out at RM or starting at striker? Espn soccernet always says RM but I dont trust espn for a second.
what an exciting end to the man city / west brom match
