Manchester United takes on Liverpool this morning in a key English Premier League battle as Liverpool tries to keep alive its faint league title hopes. Manchester United will be trying to increase its lead over Liverpool to 10 points with a win at Old Trafford today.

FINAL– Liverpool 4, Manchester United 1.  People who didn't watch the match will think Liverpool dominated this match, but what Liverpool did do today is punish Manchester United for every mistake they made and finished the chances when they came. United not only didn't finish its chances, the champions also made silly mistakes. Liverpool is playing at a high level right now and you shouldn't right off their title chances even though they are still four points back with United holding a game in hand.

90th+ minute– Reina absolutely drilled a goal kick deep into the final third and O'Shea is beaten by Dossena, who hits a perfect chip shot over Van Der Sar from distance.

90th minute- GOAL LIVERPOOL!!!!!! And it's Andrea Dossena with a long-range chip right off a Reina goal kick. Liverpool 4, Man Utd 1.

89th minute– If you're wondering who these teams face next, United plays Fulham while Liverpool plays Aston Villa.

86th minute– Not a bad week for Liverpool. Thrashing Real Madrid in the Champions League at mid-week, then coming to Old Trafford and delivering a victory.

85th minute– Gerrard misses a wide-open look to make it 4-1.

79th minute– This result helps bring United back to the pack in the EPL, but it should still be noted that United maintains a four-point lead on Liverpool with a game in hand.

77th minute- GOAL LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!! Fabio Aurelio with a stunning free kick. Liverpool 3, Manchester United 1.

HALFTIME– Standouts so far? Torres has been a handful all match while Park Ji Sung has been relentless for United. Changes? Not sure we'll see any just yet.

HALFTIME– All credit to Liverpool for both goals. Torres forced Vidic into a blunder, then muscled his way past the Serbian defender before a cool finish. Evra's penalty gaffe came on a good Liverpool sequence that released Gerrard in the area. Van Der Sar guessed correctly but still couldn't do anything to stop the penalty.

29th minute– Vidic let a long ball bounce about 45 yards out and Torres pounced, muscling Vidic off the ball and racing into the area, where he delivered a perfect finish.
