Soccer Saturday: Your Running Commentary

With today's marquee match-up between Liverpool and Manchester United now in the books, it's time to start looking ahead to the rest of today's soccer action.

Full slates of games throughout Europe and in Mexico gives us plenty of soccer to watch, including Everton-Stoke, Arsenal-Blackburn and Bochum-Bayern Munich to name a few.

  2. Even though Bayern Munich are kicking ass today, I wonder if they are having any second thoughts on not keeping Landycakes? Klose and Toni are both injured now and Poldi is showing his rust. Even missed a PK which Landy never does….

  3. Klose was injuried in the first half for FC Bayern, and they brought on a midfielder because they are out of forwards. Klinsmann was probably wishing they would have let him keep Donovan if Klose’s injury turns out to be serious.

  4. Born in islington, raised in the American south. Great day for me as a gooner and a YA follower. I’m just upset I’m having to root against Friedel, but its easy to hate Ablongahor.

    Bradley is going to be really good but I have a feeling that he is smart enough to stay in germany. He scores a lot of goals for a midfielder, but I’m not so sure his skill set would work well in England. I could see him establishing himself at BM and making a move to a team like Werder or Shalke…
