  1. I’m glad to see Carlito Tevez doing so well. He’s a great player. Also very versatile; he could easily be the star of the GEICO caveman commercials.

  2. I think you guys are being too hard on Berbatov. He’s not having a big year in scoring, but he’s been outstanding at setting up his teammates. His move, then cross to Rooney early in the game yesterday was great (It’s not Berbatov’s fault Rooney failed to finish it). And his perfect touch to bring the ball down and feed Tevez for his goal in the previous game was a thing of beauty. I certainly don’t think it was a mistake for United to have bought Berbatov, but they definitely paid too much for him.

  3. Same here Sean. Berba was BIG mistake. I really hope they keep Tevez. All he does is score goals. All Berba does is mope and me lazy.

  4. wally- “Re salabor – that would be a huge amount of work because Ives would have to have someone watch every single game involving an american abroad. But it would be ridiculously great to see a rating and short right up re how some of them played.”

just do some research and see which teams fans blog provides player ratings, then bookmark it and check in; most it takes a day or 2 for them to get posted, but just an idea.. I would like it done for me as well in these sections… -ives? is this possible? (I saw that Edu didnt play well in the draw)

  5. Fantastic day for our AA’s. If Edu can continue to improve ALA Bradley we will have one dominant midfield!

Now on to our forwards and defenders…Ay yay yay! Maybe Bradley will pull a genius move and invent some sort of new formation with 7+ midfielders 🙂

  6. I am a Man Utd fan and I will say one thing: buying Berbatov was a huge mistake. Tevez is money, clutch, and whatever other Jim Rome term you want to use.

  7. SonicDeathMonkey: What are you talking about? Bedoya has been in both U-20 and U-23 camps in the past and this is his first year as a pro….

  9. Ives –

Any chance to add a player rating to the Americans Abroad update? It’s great to see who dressed/played/scored, but an indication on how well they played would be even better.

  10. This was a good day for the Nats. Key folks getting key minutes in meaningful games in solid leagues. Score a win for Daddy Bradley.

They’ll be in good shape for the summer tourneys.

  11. Mo Edu is doing his thing at Rangers. I think this is a reason for celebration. Hopefully he keeps the momentum up so he can start next season too. I really think he can be outstanding.

I would want to leave too if I were Tevez. A talent like him rotting on the bench like he has been doing, it would be time to leave considering he is in high demand.

  12. Happy for Tevez and Carrick (not so much Utd)…2 players who are just quietly go about doing their jobs. Carrick is never really talked about because he doesn’t score much, but that was a sweet goal today. And what else can you say about Tevez…ca-ching! Dude is money and is going to get paid.

  14. Barca for the Treble! It will be even sweeter because we are going to break Man U’s heart in the process.
