    1. Villarreal is consistently in exciting, dramatic games. They play like Barcelona, but aren’t as dominant as Barcelona, which makes for action AND drama. Very, very fun team to watch. That style of play can do nothing but help Jozy too, when he gets back to Villarreal.

Today’s game was insane. Unpredictable as hell. Higuain was WAY offside on that goal. And then Casillas makes a mistake that Casillas never makes.

      What a game.

    2. I believe Gooch said in the US-Soccer podcast that the home and home would be this Thursday and the following Sunday, but don’t quote me on that.

    3. spector got smoked by pienaar to set up everton’s 3rd goal, but to be fair the move pienaar pulled would have beaten pretty much any defender.

    4. 2-0 to Anderlecht. It is looking like Standard will need to hold on and secure the win to force the home-and-home tiebreaker for the league title.

    5. WHat do you guys think about the proposed David Beckham camp to help teach MLS players how to cross the ball in the middle of the season? I found the article on du nord if you haven’t read it. Me personally I usually like the guy but his comments lately and his arrogance have seriously rubbed me the wrong way. He’s definetly acting more and more like the biggest douche bag.

    6. Whew. The last few minutes were close. Some of those players deserve an award for their dramatic “injuries” they “suffered”
