If thats correct, sad not to see Torres in there. Everything else looks ok, not great. I guess we will see after the first 15 minutes.
and the reason Torres does not get the start?????????????
BUT..Thank you bob, thank you for benching Beas finally
lineup per MNT blog!@
# #USMNT lineup v. Honduras: Howard; Spector, Onyewu, Bocanegra (c), Bornstein; Dempsey, Clark, Mastroeni, Donovan; Altidore, Casey 9 minutes ago
not seeing anyone who is going to create on this team. we need a better game from dempsey and landon otherwise we are in serious trouble.
@Ed
Exactly what I was thinking when I saw Buddle go in one on one. I simply knew that Buddle would finish it. Then I thought if Barrett had the same scenario, he would of drilled it into the keepers chest, or put it 6 yards above the bar. Sad.

Where is the lineup?
The traitor has scored for Italy… ugh.

^^^^^^^^
You sure are class act.
No Torres or Adu.
Ugh, indeed.
Next you’re gonna tell me Pearce is starting and Casey is going to be the lone forward.
According to ESPN:
Costa Rica is in a 6-1-3 formation?
TFC – completely exposed. Marco Velez is not MLS quality, and they need somebody other than DeRo who can finish.
Also, they need to do something about the beer lines at halftime, because nobody gets back to their seat before about the 55th minute.
Goff says no Torres or Adu in gameday roster… NICE BOB! Ugh
and the scary thing is that Brazil took care of business IN Uruguay 4-0—-something that they haven’t done in 35 years. Yes, 35 years.
be afraid, be very afraid.
lol wonder what Barrett would have done with the ball Buddle got…
Edson Buddle starts a play from his own end and finishes off nicely to give LA a 2-1 lead in the 77th minute
Clinical finish by Buddle puts LA up 2-1. Perfect counter attack.
I turned it on just in time to see LA get robbed on a no-call on an offsides.
Doc Ricketts made a sweet save! still 1-0 Galaxy

I think the fact that they will qualify veils significant issues that must be dealt with at USSF and how it is run. The coaching is simply not up to par.
After watching Italy winning 3-0 and Brazil winning 3-0…yup we’re out the first round for confederations cup…Both teams look so solid…
wednesday’s game was horrible, by far the most dissapointing, but what else did you expect at costa rica? come on… my statement wasnt based on the last games, overall theyre doing fine. what game where you watching if you say the lucked out against mexico. US will qualify and no less then 2 place.
TFC-Gals are about to kick off. And for the record, South Africa didn’t “qualify” for the World Cup. As hosts, they don’t have to qualify. Just sayin’.
@ eric,
“the US hasnt played bad.”
WHAT WERE YOU WATCHING WED? USA was abysmal against El Salvador and Costa Rica, and lucked out against Mexico.
Brazil 2 Uruguay 0 Half time.. Alves 12′, Juan 36′ Two defenders…Uruguay has missed soooo many chances Brazil has had 3 and made two…good game overall…Kaka looks like the old Kaka, Super fast, Robinho and his trickery excellent. Elano and Felipe Melo having solid games as well…
no sweat jags, i eventually found it on justin.tv. thanks for the link, tho.
Jim-
Sorry just saw your post.
Ireland just tied Bulgaria 1-1. Here is a link to all the games streaming live for free.

Luis Felipe Scolari is available.
I’m watching Brazil vs Uruguay live on http://atdhe.net/ scroll down to Brazil vs Uruguay link…Good luck and enjoy!!!
the US hasnt played bad. everyone needs to calm down and let the men do his job. in reality it all comes down to the 11 players on the field. look at chicago with osorio, the dude got so much credit for chicago getting as far as the semis. now with NY we really see the potential when the players suck. NY wanted him bad and now they want him gone.
gol dani alves. 1-0 brazil
The traitor has scored for Italy… ugh.
Denmark with 1-0 lead. nice!
sweaty nuts! france turkey is a friendly. i dont pay attention to the myriad of euro groups…
can’t wait for USA to dominate!
If the US lays another egg today against Honduras, it will be time to make a change and dump Bradley. The team has looked totally uninspired under him, tactically inferior, and playing with a “Hope we don’t lose” menatlity. It will be time to resurect the talks with Klinsmann and set us up for a better run in ’10 than Bradley will be able to engineer.
Does anyone really see a Bradley-led team getting out of the first round of the Cup? Yes, we’ll probably qualify (only because FIFA has almost guaranteed that the US and Mexico will be there every time with 3.5 spots for a region with maybe 8 legit teams). This team needs an inspirational leader with fresh ideas and a coach who can help develop new players and promote them overseas.
Turkey just blew a great chance! dude ran down the right side of the box and crossed it at the penalty spot but the turkish dude shot it wide left.
0-0
anyone have a stream for bulgaria-ireland?
South Korea are the third team from Asia to qualify for the World Cup today, with a 2-0 win over UAE. Congrats to them.
Hup, Holland!
Great to hear how the Iran/North Korea match in Pyongyang got moved to a stadium with a grass pitch because FIFA determined the artificial turf at the original venue was not up to standards. Even the so-called Axis of Evil gets more love from FIFA than the USA.
watching the France v. Turkey game on ESPN Deportes… what’s everyone else watching? gonna use justin.tv for the other games until the USA game on ESPN at 5pm PST
I don’t get why any league would schedule games while that respective country has a national team game going on…
Here’s today’s TV schedule:
Sweden-Denmark 2 p.m. Setanta
Serbia-Austria 2:30 p.m. FSC
Italy-Northern Ireland 2:40 p.m. GolTV
Macedonia-Norway 4:30 p.m. FSC
Bolivia-Venezula 4:30 p.m. ESPN Deportes
USA-Honduras 8 p.m. ESPN, Galavision
Iceland-Netherlands 8:30 p.m. Setanta
El Salvador-Mexico 9 p.m. Telemundo
Real Salt Lake-Colorado 10 p.m. FSC
Who would you suggest take over the US, MiamiAI?
Congrats to the USA! Bob Bradley, you did a good job, we got the win against Honduras, and we will allow you to stay through Confederations Cup! AFTER THAT, it will be time for you to step aside for the sake of the program. There will be a job waiting for you at Red Bulls Park…
informal poll:
Who will be the first team in CONCACAF to qualify,
When will they qualify,
and when (if ever) will the US qualify (and in which spot in the standings – 1,2,3,4…)?
Australia also qualified today, so congratulations to them.
yes man, south africa qualified before them, but thats just cause they are hosting…England smoked Kazakhstan 4-0. Barry, Heskey, Rooney, Lampard (Pen) with the goals.
who is playing?
Didn’t South Africa qualify before them?
Congrats to Japan, first team to qualify for the World Cup….
