    1. Next game Davies will score. I’m sure he’ll be a sub though. By September he’ll be starting if not a week or 2 before.

    2. Talk about lost in translation, I put this commentary into a online translator

“Martin est servi dans l’axe, il fait la différence sur le contrôle et sert Davies dans la surface. L’attaquant a un passement de jambe de feu, il déborde son défenseur et semble accroché mais l’arbitre laisse jouer.”

      and this came out

“Martin is served in the axis, it made the difference on the control and serves Davies, in the surface. The attacker a lock leg of fire, it goes beyond his defense counsel and seems hooked, but the arbitrator leaves play.”

If anyone has a clue what this means I would love to hear it. I took it as saying that Davies was pulled down but the ref didn’t call it. What “lock leg of fire” means i have no clue, but it sounds really cool.

    3. seems like he played a pretty good 20 minutes or so, glad he didn’t play the full game, they get the win and he is still fresh for Wednesday, can’t freaking wait, i’m going to the game, gonna be amazing

    4. i think that the 20 minutes charlie got was good on all accounts. he had enough time to impress, which he did, and he’s gonna be pretty well rested to torch the mexicants!

    8. McBride scored 9goals in 36 appearances and 10goals in the same amount of appearances and 12 goals in 40 appearances a few seasons ago. So he pretty much scored 1 in every 4 games. Not bad for a striker on a relegation fodder team season after season.

But my point is he became a LEGEND at Fulham. Imagine the legends for Altidore and Davies if they can score at least 10goals in their debut season for Hull and Sochaux

    9. Must be a nervous as hell day for Davies. He stepped up into 1 of the best leagues on the planet. If he can score 10goals, he’ll be doing quite a good job. Any more will make him a LEGEND in due time. Lycka til Yank

    12. The Championship is in it’s first full match day as well. Mighty Forest with an away point at Reading. Not a bad start for the Tricky Trees.

    14. Jay Demerit and Jemal Johnson on the field right now, Mike Grella and Frank Simek on the bench now for their teams…can’t wait to see how Sochaux does.

    15. I must admit, I’m not at all excited about anybody on the US Nats playing today & Sunday ahead of Mexico City on Wednesday. The squad should be together in Mexico City preparing right now to have a chance, but I understand that’s just not how it is and most of the US Nats will only get Tuesday to train in the high altitude and smog, after a Monday of travel. I have a bad feeling about this one. Mexico is desperate to get qualifying back on track and will not hesitate to drown the Yanks in Azteca.
