  1. Portland Timbers continue the streak tonight with 23 matches unbeaten in league competition.

Relax, just because he didn’t start today doesn’t mean he’ll be living on the bench. Milan has alot of fixtures and not that many center backs. If Gooch wanted to be a sure starter he would’be stayed at Liege. Milan offers him a step up in competition, a chance to prove to everyone that he is a world class player.

  3. The scenario that everyone feared would happen is happening. Onyewu goes to Milan and sits on bench.

Depressing. Any chance for a loan??

  4. I was not overly impressed by Milan’s back line, but still hard to see Gooch cracking the starting 11 for Serie A matches short of an injury. Given how heated the post game was, though, I’m sure he’ll see time as Pato’s bodyguard at least.

  5. Ronaldinho and Pato are looking pretty good for Milan. Maybe this is exactly what Ronnie needed to get his career back together…

  6. A few hours late here, but man, that’s a pretty world-class play for a guy making his first club appearance in a year. Here’s to Jozy consistently showing back-to-the-basket ability. We could have a pretty terrific strike tandem for the next decade.

  7. Tim, according to what I’ve read, reports go as far as saying that Davies was one of the best players on offense or just saying that he played ok…

  8. BTW I just received an email from the guy @ Empire of the Kop.

He had no idea World Soccer Daily was the biggest soccer show in the States. And basically knew nothing about the it save a few choice remarks from Steven C.

He did inform me that there were many podcasts ready to step in with WSD’s forced absence, but he could not name one.

    Pretty RICH stuff!

The more I learn about the boycotters the more useless they appear.
