Hertha Berlin midfielder Bryan Arguez has been added to the U.S. national team roster that will compete in the U-20 World Cup in Egypt later this month, sources told SBI on Tuesday.
Arguez was summoned to replace forward Sam Garza, who will miss the tournament due to injury. The 20-year-old will join a team that already boasts talented youngsters such as Mikkel Diskerud, Brek Shea and Dilly Duka.
The U.S. was drawn into Group C with Germany, Cameroon and Korea Republic. The Americans open the tournament on Sept. 26 against Germany.
What do you think of Arguez's inclusion to the roster? Will he make an impact in Egpyt? Think he should have been called in from the start?
