  1. (SBI-Honduras has actually had three players already serve yellow card suspensions during the Hex (Wilson Palacios, Costly and Rambo DeLeon). Osman Chavez, Ramon Nunez, Mario Beata, Hendry Thomas, Mario Rodriguez and Carlos Pavon are all on yellow cards.)

I really hope Mexico ticks off Honduras…the more the merrier

  2. I have tickets for the US v Costa Rica game…so I wouldn’t mind if it was for all the marbles. However, I’d rather get this WC spot locked in asap.

  3. If the worst happens and USA loses or draws with T&T, we all have to root for El Salvador to get at least a draw against Costa Rica.

It will guarantee that the worst that could happen is that USA/Costa Rica will be for all the marbles with a USA victory getting them through with no need of any other results on the last day.

  4. USA 4-0

MOTM:Jozy and Davies doing stanky leg over and over and over

Surprise star=Holden if he gets subbed in and gets a cross assist or Torres

  6. Red Cards would be glorious more or less for Honduras…actually are they in yellow card trouble at all?

  7. BellusLudas, I find your claims hard to believe. It might be more credible if you spelled Liechtenstein correctly.

BTW, GolTV will show the Germany gae at 4:45pm (delayed).

  8. Also, everyone cheer for El Salvador to beat Costa Rica tonight. That would give the USMNT some breathing room. Again, we just need to be in the top 3 and if Costa Rica decides to fade, that will likely ensure that we don’t have to go through the playoff.

    Go Trucos! Go Guanacos!

  9. Wish ESPN would show better respect for the Nats…Classic is hardly a mainstay of the cable world. I have the choice of travelling to a US Soccer Bar (not bad, but 40 miles away), or watching the match in Spanish. So, the drive it is.

That said, moving on to the lineup question, please tell me that Bradley is benching Broenstein and moving Boca out left, leaving Gooch partnered with Marshall! I also hope that he moves baby Bradley forward (replacing Feilhaber) and adds some defensive bite to the midfield with Rico Clark!

  10. Definitely Leichtenstein vs. Finland…being a long-time Leichtenstein fan and former, almost national team member (damn immigration rules!) I will be glued to the monitor hoping against hope that our team will rise up against the mighty reindeer herders! OK, maybe Hungary vs Portugal will be a better match 🙂

  11. I think the red cards galore is a good idea for the Mexico Honduras game. Other than that game the Serbia vs France game looks the most interesting.
