FC Dallas edges New England, 1-0

Fcdallas

FC Dallas' slim playoff hopes gained more steam on Wednesday night after a Jeff Cunningham goal helped give Dallas a 1-0 victory against New England at the Cotton Bowl.

Cunningham headed home a Jair Benitez cross in the 71st minute to give FC Dallas its third win in four matches and move the Texas club closer to the playoff pack with three matches remaining. FC Dallas is still four points back of the Revs for the final post-season spot.

The loss kept New England from tightening its hold on the last playoff spot. The Revs still have four matches remaining.

What do you think of FC Dallas winning again? Starting to believe Schellas Hyndman's team could sneak into the playoffs? Wondering if Steve Ralston's season-ending injury will keep New England from holding onto its playoff spot?
