Where will you be watching USA-Costa Rica?

The U.S. men's national team will play its final World Cup qualifier on Wednesday night in Washington D.C. and even though the team has already qualified for the 2010 World Cup, the match vs. Costa Rica is an important one to U.S. fans who want to see their team finish strong.

With that in mind, where will you be watching Wednesday's match vs. Costa Rica (8pm, ESPN2)? Will you be making the trek to RFK Stadium to enjoy a post-qualifying party? Will you enjoy it from the comfort of your home, where you couldn't watch Saturday's win vs. Honduras? Plan on skipping it in favor of the big Real Salt Lake-New York Red Bulls tilt?

I am making the trip down to D.C. today and will be providing coverage of the match for SBI (along with Franco Panizo) and for ESPN.com, including a live commentary on SBI, so be sure to follow our coverage of the match.

So, where will you be watching on Wednesday night?

  1. Yo me too Rob! I’m freakin pumped (despite the Davies thing).

I’m sure the emotions will be hard for the team. Sometimes that can be fuel to the fire though.

  2. I believe it will be difficult for some USA players to get up for this game with the Davies tragedy still on their minds. I expect Bradley may have to make some difficult player decisions, and be just as concerned with emotions as victory. I give him and the team as much slack as they need. It’s only a game.

  4. According to some player tweets it is not good at all for Charlie Davies… I am thinking this could be a career ending…

  5. I was going to be watching it at Rio Tinto Stadium on the jumbo-tron prior to the RSL game. But, the idiots in the RSL front office have now said that the “double header” is cancelled because “due to some technical issues with the feed coming from the ESPN truck”. How the hell can that be when there is no ESPN truck sending a feed of that game yet? and how can they be able to send any cable channel to all the suites and everywhere in the building but can’t figure out how to plug a coax in to the jumbotron? I think the 12 year old next door could to it in 5 minutes without ever seeing the equipment. This is yet another major screw up by the RSL front office this season. This front office alienates fans and season ticket holders like they have 20,000 and a waiting list. What a damn joke.

I just snorted. Loudly. In a library. Where I am supposed to be doing a massive research paper and will probably be getting thrown out of in a few seconds time. Stop being a sarcastically brilliant jokester, Ives.

  7. In my living room, hopefully with a friend or two, but that all depends on whether either feels comfortable enough to come to someone’s house that they just met sometime tonight.

  9. Home sweet home. Will have some friends over for steaks, adult beverages and relaxation since we have already qualified. Really hope we win and that Honduras wins, as well.

  10. First of all, that has got to be the worst club logo I have ever seen, well…on second thought, I’ve seen worse, still pretty bad though. I’ll be watching this game, excitedly, in the comfort of my own home on ESPN360.

  11. I complained about not being able to watch the US Honduras game at home, but we actually had a lot of fun going to Pizza Hut Park to watch with about 400 or 500 other roudy fans. I’ll be at home this time, but it won’t be nearly as fun to watch as the last one.
